Odly ("we", "our", or "us") operates an AI-powered communication platform for teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services at odly.ai.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Email content: messages synced from connected email accounts (Gmail, IMAP) to provide inbox and AI features.
  • Usage data: actions taken within the platform for analytics and service improvement.
  • Integration credentials: OAuth tokens for connected services (stored encrypted, never shared).

3. Google OAuth and Gmail Data

When you connect a Gmail account, we request access to read, send, and modify emails via Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol. We use this access solely to:

  • Fetch incoming messages into your Odly inbox
  • Send replies on your behalf
  • Mark messages as read or apply labels

We do not share Gmail data with third parties, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read your emails except when you explicitly request support. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To deliver and improve the Odly platform
  • To power AI features such as suggested replies and knowledge base extraction
  • To send transactional emails (account invitations, notifications)
  • To ensure security and prevent abuse

5. Data Storage and Security

All sensitive credentials (OAuth tokens, API keys, passwords) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Data is stored on servers within the EU. We use TLS for all data in transit.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, after which we will delete your data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain it longer.

7. Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party services (Google, Telegram, Slack, Jira, and AI providers) at your direction. Each service is governed by its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required to provide the integration you configure.
